About Me

Hello there!

Thank you for wanting to get to know me :)  My story is long- but in a nutshell I struggled with eating disorders, over-exercising, and body dysmorphia for ten long years. Through two of my four pregnancies I was depleted. Postpartum all I cared about was "being skinny."  I ignored the dizziness, fatigue,  and anxiety I faced chalking it up to be normal. I OBSESSED about what I looked like daily.

Just one year prior to my fourth pregnancy, I was training to be in a figure competition. My workouts were intense and my body was already nutrient depleted, but I pushed. I pushed myself so much that I hit rock bottom. I was so sick- I couldn't work, barely was able to care for my kids, and I felt like I was dying. At that point, I took control of my life and little by little I gained my health back and no longer struggle with the obsessing thoughts I did in my teens and early 20's.

My journey has helped me to recognize how important it is for me to help you to feel confident and sexy while still maintaining optimal health through nutrition and exercise that feels right to you!

Let's work together and I can guide you with my support and expertise to get you to feeling your best!

In 2010, I obtained my Certified Personal Trainer certification through National Federation of Professional Trainers (NFPT). I loved being able to show people how to exercise, but a HUGE piece of the puzzle was missing- Nutrition. I decided to further my education.

In 2015, I received my Bachelor's degree in Health Care Studies. Some course work I studied includes: anatomy and physiology, health coaching, nutrition, biology, health promotion, chemistry, psychology, epidemiology, and research methods and design.

Currently, I am a Nutritionist for the USDA under the grant Eat Smart New York. I truly enjoy educating people on the proper way to fuel their body for optimal health.
